Escaping Retail is a great jumpstart for the pharmacist looking for options in their career. For everyone else in the healthcare field, this book is an eye-opener to the world of pharmacy and an engaging read. Simultaneously, a pleasure reading Dr. Okenna Oparah’s journey. A great blueprint guide, great flow of concepts and appreciated the sprinkled humor.

As I was reading the book I felt like every time a question popped in my head centered around the topic you were discussing at the moment, you later (not very long after) answered that very question. I thought it was very thorough and it totally encapsulated the struggle of a retail pharmacist, especially the Pharm D generation of pharmacist.

I have enjoyed reading this! It not only has confirmed my decision to go into a residency program, but made me appreciate it more that I am doing it now!
